Philip David Charles „Phil“ Collins (* 30. Januar 1951 in Chiswick, London) ist ein britischer Rock-/Pop-Sänger, Schlagzeuger, Komponist und Schauspieler. Er ist sowohl als Solokünstler als auch als Frontmann und Schlagzeuger der Progressive-Rock- und heutigen Pop-Gruppe Genesis bekannt. Collins verzeichnete zwischen 1984 und 1989 sieben Nummer-Eins-Erfolge in den US-Single-Charts; hinzu kommt noch ein Nummer-Eins-Hit mit Genesis (Invisible Touch).
