Aretha Franklin wurde am 25. März 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee geboren. Ihr Vater Clarence LaVaughn Franklin war ein bekannter Baptistenprediger in den Vereinigten Staaten. Aretha wuchs mit vier Geschwistern in der Industriemetropole Detroit (US-Bundesstaat Michigan) auf. Read more on Last.fm
