Balzac ist eine japanische Horrorpunk-Band, die ihre Musikstilrichtig selbst als "Japan's premiere Devilrock" bezeichnet.

Die Band wurde 1992 von Hirosuke (Gesang), Atsushi (Gitarre), Akio (Bass-Gitarre) und Takiyuki (Schlagzeug) in Osaka gegründet, um der legendären amerikanischen Punkband Misfits ein Tribut auszusprechen. Im gleichen Stil wie Misfits treten die Musiker in Skelett-Anzügen auf und wollen somit einen "Horror-Stil" bewirken. Nach Read more on Last.fm
