Sarah Ann McLachlan (* 28. Januar 1968 in Halifax) ist eine kanadische Musikerin, Sängerin und Songschreiberin.

McLachlan wurde als Kind adoptiert. Im Alter von 17 Jahren spielte sie mit der New Wave-Band October Game. Im Jahr 1988 unterschrieb sie einen Plattenvertrag mit dem Independentlabel Nettwerk.
