Ace of Base ist eine schwedische Popgruppe aus Göteborg, die speziell von Ende 1992 bis Frühjahr 1999 weltweit erfolgreich in den Charts waren. Zu ihren bekanntesten Hits gehören All That She Wants, Happy Nation, The Sign, Beautiful Life und Cruel Summer.

Geschichte
Hauptinitiator der Gründung von Ace of Base war Jonas Berggren. Er hatte einige Jahre in einer Band namens G Konrad mitgearbeitet und anschließend 1987 mit zwei Freunden eine von The KLF und Snap! inspirierte Techno-Band ohne internationalen Erfolg gegründet. Read more on Last.fm
