Gang of Four
Gang of Four ist eine stilbildende englische Post-Punk- oder New-Wave-Band, die vor allem durch den für sie charakteristischen treibenden Rhythmus bekannt wurde, der dem Funk entlehnt ist.
Die Band wurde 1977 in Leeds (England) gegründet. Ihre erste Single 1978 brachte ihnen einen Vertrag mit dem Majorlabel EMI ein.
