Josef K war eine schottische Post-Punk-Band, die sich 1979 gründete und nach der Veröffentlichung der Single "The Farewell Single" im Jahr 1982 auflöste. Sie benannte sich nach dem Protagonisten aus Franz Kafkas "Der Prozess". Nach ihrer ersten Single wurden sie von Postcard Records gesignt und gemeinsam mit Orange Juice zu der Band der The Sound of Young Scotland-Bewegung.
